Robert Morris University is aPersonal co-co-ed college founded inside 1921. Known as when Robert Morris, RMU offers more than Thirty bachelor’s & Xiv post-graduate degree computer program. These are placed in the 230 acre (931,000 k²) campus around Moon Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, and has the satellite campus around downtown Pittsburgh.

Robert Morris sports teams come nicknamed a Colonials. A school colors come blue and white. A Colonials compete around NCAA Section We (Division I-AA inside football). A men's & women's ice hockey teams come members of the College Hockey America conference, while wholly more sports come sponsored per Northeast Conference (Men's lacrosse and women's row come each independent). A basketball team plays in a Sewall Center & the eleven may presently play in the new constructed Joe Walton Stadium.

Before 2002, it was referred to as Robert Morris College, however these are non related Robert Morris College in Chicago, Illinois.

In May 20, 2005, university officials announced that Gregory G. Dell'Omo, an administrator at St. Joseph's University, had been chosen to replace longtime president Edward Nicholson. Dell'Omo wwhen installed as president in August 1, 2005.
